Probate is a court proceeding which involves the collection and distribution of a decedent’s property, and paying any of the decedent’s liabilities. It also provides the opportunity to prove or contest the validity of a decedent’s last will and testament. Guardianship

A guardianship is a court proceeding where a person seeks to be appointed by the court as the person having the care of the person and/or access of a ward. A guardianship may be for a minor or a person who is mentally incapacitated and unable to handle his or her affairs.

Nonprofit and Charitable Organizations
